FINAL MAJOR PROJECT
2022
I am currently working on my Final Major Project collection inspired by the layers & colours Indian roses; this collection is a one stop range that takes the modern south Asian bride from the wedding to the honeymoon. The collection will feature luxurious finishes, and appliqués on silk, and will span throughout Lingerie, Nightwear, Swimwear & Resort wear.
Lounge Underwear X Disha Lulla
2021
As a part of my Final year, I have had an exciting opportunity to work with Lounge Intimates on an external client project. I developed a Glow-in-the-Dark bespoke embroidery inspired by the texture and patterns of brain corals. I pushed my self out of my comfort zone by experimenting with a variety of new techniques such as metal works, embroidery, Print Making, foiling, Flocking, Dye sublimation and screen printing.
Setting Up Disha Lulla Design
2020 - Present
During the first few days on the first lockdown in india, I saw that supplies such as masks were scarce; I started making 3 layered biodegradable cotton masks and donating it to Ngo's and the police department along with additional supplies. I was widely covered from news outlets such as BBC Radio and BBC news, which led an increase in people wanting to buy them, proceeds from sales went towards donating more masks and planting tress through one tree planted.
In 2021, I expanded my range to scrunchies & Nightwear made which is now live on multiple websites in india such as Brownliving.in, Propshop24.com, eco sativa, elemental stories and was shipped across india in 100% plastic free packaging.
Indian Bridal Lingerie Collection
2019
This Collection was done as part of my Second year at University, Being an International student, I often look at ways on combining my designs with the rich
culture of india. I designed a Bridal Lingerie Range featuring Chantilly Lace, Swarovski Crystals and adjustable sizes ; inspired by the Pink City of India - Jaipur.

A collection of Prints & Branding inspired by classic chick-flick such as Legally Blonde & Mean Girls. The prints and colour were designed specifically to go on swimwear for the ages 13-17.
SO FETCH - Print Project

This Range of activewear was designed for Tommy Sport as a part of an external client project. The collection was inspired by the textures of kintsuj; this collection was designed for tri-athletes, focusing on quick drying and compression fabrics.

This Section Includes some of my first year work. I learned key skills such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, Garment Construction, Design Development, Trend Prediction; all of which has been very important for my creative process since then.
